
DIPLOMA IN PASTRY AND BAKERY MANAGEMENT
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The major objective of this course is to produce highly competent manpower in the Pastry and Bakery section with modern, international, practical and theoretical skills in managing pastry and bakery businesses.
The program is designed for students to master pastry and bakery techniques. It acts as a passport into an exciting and dynamic career in pastries.
Required subjects
- Two best done of food and Nutrition, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, Entrepreneurship, geography and fine art
Eligibility for admission for a Diploma in Pastry and Bakery program
Grades
Eligible students shall have at least One (1) principal pass and two (2)
subsidiary passes obtained in Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) in either Science or Arts Subject Combinations and 5 passes at Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) obtained at the same sitting respectively or their Equivalents from a recognized institution.

- Photocopies of academic certificates / testimonials
- Three (3) recent passport Photographs
- Valid Birth Certificate
