The department offers diploma, certificate and short tailored courses in hotel operations to equip students with knowledge and skills of hospitality facilities management. The programme exposes students to operational approaches of supervising and managing hospitality establishments. Students go through all areas of hotel operations theoretically and practically
The students are attached to Crested Crane Hotel in Crane restaurant, coffee shop, kitchen, front office and housekeeping to enhance on their practical skills for one month every semester.
Research skills are also imparted through writing research proposals and later research dissertations on hospitality issues.
